Our club started in the 70s during the surge in jogging make popular by author Dr. Kenneth Cooper. Other running clubs on the Fresno scene have appeared, burned bright for a few years, and faded away. But our club has continued steadily on. It is the long term friendships and long term interest in being active that has made this work.
